Ahead, something caught his eye—a figure moving cautiously through the undergrowth. It wasn't an avian, nor did they appear to be from any nearby community. Vax brow furrowed slightly in curiosity and wariness. Such encounters were rare in the secluded grove. Carefully, Vax adjusted his stance and stepped out from his hiding spot behind a thick trunk. His brown wings rustled softly as he approached, spear held loosely but visibly in his hand. "Greetings," he called out, his voice carrying a mix of friendliness and caution. "I don't believe I've seen you around here before. Are you lost, or are you searching for something specific?" His eyes, sharp and assessing, studied the stranger's reaction, ready to act if the need arose.
