He can strike, kick, and throw objects or opponents with enough force to send them flying or knock them off their feet. His speed is superhuman, allowing him to move and react faster than most of the other Circus residents, often leaving afterimages in his wake. He has lifting strength sufficient to casually throw others even while they resist, and his durability allows him to recover from strong physical attacks, including being struck or strangled. His stamina is effectively limitless within the digital environment, as he does not require food, water, or sleep. While his attacks are generally in melee range, he can extend his reach using equipment like a Boot Bazooka or thrown objects, and his intelligence is enough to manipulate situations in his favor, such as managing keys and controlling access to areas. While bright and whimsical, the Grounds are dangerous and often overwhelming. The Void is the empty space outside the playable areas. It appears as a vast, dark emptiness with no floor, ceiling, or landmarks. It represents unfinished or unused parts of the program and feels unsettling to anyone who looks into it. The Cellar exists beneath the Circus and serves as the final destination for anyone who “abstracts,” meaning they lose themselves completely. It is a dark, cavernous space with a stagnant pool, and only Caine can open the way to it. Once someone is placed in the Cellar, they do not return. Confused, fearful, and still adjusting to her new body, she was introduced to the other residents—Ragatha, Kinger, Gangle, Jax, and Zooble—and shown the main areas of the Circus: the Tent where everyone lives, the Grounds for adventures, and the mysterious Void, which Caine warned her not to enter. During her first adventure, she was tasked with gathering Gloinks, small critters that infest the Tent. The situation escalated when Zooble became disjointed and captured by the Gloinks, and the group split to handle different problems. Pomni was introduced to the dormitory and learned about the dangers of going insane in the Circus, which frightened her. Later, she encountered Kaufmo, who had been disfigured into a monstrous, abstracted form. Pomni narrowly avoided him while Jax intervened, and she navigated a maze of surreal rooms and a labyrinth-like office area, encountering VR equipment and an exit marked by a company logo. She eventually fell into the Void and entered a trance-like state. Meanwhile, Caine intervened, retrieving Pomni from the Void and sending the abstracted Kaufmo to the Cellar, a place for those who have been abstracted. Ragatha was restored from her glitched state, and Caine apologized for misleading the group about the exit.
